Exterior walls are one area where upgrading or adding insulation can make a big difference in the homeowner’s comfort and energy use
Woodman Insulation has the staff and expertise to install the right insulation for your project. You can rest easy knowing we are qualified subcontractors with the attention to detail and adherence to timelines you expect.
With increased interest in energy efficiency by homeowners and business owners, we work with our builders to educate them on the most cost effective way to install high quality insulation. Superior insulation installation not only helps the environment, it positions the builder as one that provides additional value to its clients.
Fiberglass
As a primary insulation product, fiberglass insulation is installed in many of the projects we work on. We are proud to work with the following fiberglass manufacturers:
We offer full width unfaced batts for metal framing applications when insulating build outs and other commercial office spaces. We also offer a white laminate fiberglass batt that can be used in warehouse applications.
Woodman also uses Johns Manville’s Spider™ Custom Insulation System. Spider is a formaldehyde-free™ fiber glass that sprays in almost dry, completely filling gaps and voids around electrical fixtures, pipes and other obstructions to give you superior insulation coverage. Spider™ insulation will not settle or shrink, and it’s inorganic and naturally mold-resistant.
Foam Insulation
Foam insulation is a popular choice in insulation. Applied as a liquid, foam insulation expands to 100 times its volume in seconds to fill every crack and crevice. Foam insulation remains flexible after installation the integrity of the building envelope seal remains intact over time. Foam insulation acts as a complete insulation and air barrier to minimize air leakage and seal the building envelope for optimal airtightness.
Although foam can be used throughout an entire project, in many cases foam insulation is used for air sealing. Using this product that easily fills crevices and expands, it is a perfect solution to help keep energy inside the dwelling.
We install foam insulation from the following manufacturers:
Block Fill Foam Insulation
Block fill foam insulation is a “dry” resin foam-in-place insulation product designed for the cores of concrete block walls. It is competitively priced and is equal or superior to all current foam-in-place products specified.
Block fill foam masonry insulation is typically used in commercial and institutional buildings such as retail box stores, schools and churches. It is also used in residential applications such as concrete-block stucco walls, foundations and basement walls.
We install block fill foam from cfiFOAM.
