Fiberglass insulation can be used as blown in insulation, attic insulation, wall insulation and virtually any other home insulation application.

  • Fiberglass insulation is composed primarily of natural ingredients such as sand and recycled glass products that are melted and spun to create tiny strands of fiberglass.
  • Fiberglass is the most widely used home insulator, and is also used to reduce noise transfer from room to room.
  • Fiberglass comes in both batt insulation and blown in insulation.

Owens Corning EcoTouch™ PINK™ FIBERGLAS® batt insulation helps save money and energy. Using sustainable manufacturing processes this fiberglass batt insulation is made with natural materials and a formaldehyde-free formulation. EcoTouch is also manufactured with a minimum of 70% recycled content (the highest in the industry).

InsulSafe SP® from CertainTeed is a fiber glass blowing insulation used in residential and commercial construction as a thermal and sound absorbing insulation. It is designed for pneumatic installation in open (attic) and closed (sidewalls/floor) construction cavities. It may be used in retrofit applications.

PROPINK® L77 PINK FIBERGLAS™ unbonded loosefill insulation from Owens Corning (blowing wool) is used to blow in attics and in other applications.

PROPINK® has these features:

  • Will not settle or deteriorate with age, so there’s no danger of losing R-value* over time.
  • Noncorrosive – Doesn’t require fire-retardant chemicals that can leach out, promoting corrosion of pipes, electrical equipment or structural metal attachments.
  • Noncombustible – Meets all model building codes for noncombustibility.
  • Won’t Absorb Moisture – Moisture reduces insulation effectiveness. Glass fibers resist moisture build-up.
