BPI Certified Analyst – Woodman Insulation has a BPI Certified Analyst on staff. This nationally-recognized training prepares individuals for careers as a Building Analyst/Energy Auditor. Trainees must pass both a written and field test in order to become BPI certified.
HERS Rater – Woodman Insulation has a HERS Rater on staff. This certification is part of the Residential Energy Services Network (“RESNET”). RESNET's standards are officially recognized by the federal government for verification of building energy performance for such programs as federal tax incentives, the Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR program and the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America Program. While all home energy auditors and raters can be expected to have some degree of skill, RESNET member auditors and raters are committed to the highest level of quality and ethics.
DuPont Tyvek certified installers – our house wrap installation team has received training from DuPont Tyvek.
OSHA certifications – Our staff has participated in 10-hour trainings and 30-hour trainings through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”). The OSHA Outreach Training Program is their primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. Through the program, individuals who complete a one-week OSHA trainer course are authorized to teach 10-hour and 30-hour courses in construction or general industry safety and health hazard recognition and prevention. The OSHA Outreach Training Program is voluntary. OSHA does not require participation in this program.
